This venue is absolutely beautiful! And the view is breathtaking! The owners, Desta and her husband are incredible to work with! She will do everything for you if you don’t know how you want to decorate for your occasion. She asks your opinion on everything before she does it. She is so sweet and wants the best for you. You will gain a friend after working with her. I would highly recommend her. And if you want to rent out her cabin for your occasion, I recommend that too. It’s homey and comfortable. It has its own heating and air setting so you can set it to what you want, and it has a giant TV. Would highly recommend this venue!

For our daughter's second birthday party. we knew we wanted to have her party somewhere special. Coal City Bluff was more than we could have imagined. It's a beautiful venue that can suit any decor or style, with plenty of room to host a number of people, while still allowing you to keep connected to your guests. The owners, Jeremy and Desta, are the most honest, down to earth, and genuinely friendly people you'll ever find. They really want their guests to enjoy themselves, and go above and beyond to accommodate everyone's needs. We loved Coal City Bluff and have recommended them to friends!

I just had my wedding here and I can’t explain how beautiful it is, the pictures don’t do it justice. My husband and I had our dream wedding at Coal City Bluff in September 2016. This venue couldn't be more perfect! The bluff view is breathtaking and is perfect for pictures. They also have a bridal suite for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready in. We highly recommend Coal City Bluff for any wedding or event! Their customer service is amazing as well!
